Meet Micheline Farhoud
I am one of those lucky people who developed, at an early age, a strong passion for working with children. Therefore, I have dedicated the past 34 years of my professional life to the nurturing of young minds, and to providing excellence in early childhood learning.
I speak English, Arabic, and some French. I started my career as a pre-school and elementary school teacher. Within a few years, I had the opportunity to teach at an international school. This experience provided me a wealth of cultural exposure as the student body consisted of children from all over the world. In 1989, I moved to Texas. Here, I fulfilled a life-long dream of owning and operating my own child care facility. Along with my husband, we ran a successful daycare for an entire decade. In 2005, I became the Child Care Coordinator of the Employee Childcare at EMS ISD for another decade and a half.
I am a Master Registered Trainer for Texas Early childhood professional Development System (TECPDS). I consider it an honor and a privilege to share my wealth of knowledge with Early Childhood teachers, caregivers, and administrators. It is a wonderful way of positively impacting hundreds of children through the hard work, kindness, and dedication of their teachers.
I am here to serve my community by making a difference in the lives of its youngest citizens.
